Sonia was amazing and very supportive ensuring the makeover was appropriate for the style and look required. After about an hour it was time to slip into my mother of the bride outfit, dress, jacket, shoes, bag and hatinator, I looked into the mirror, I saw Penelope looking back. She was stunning! I felt very feminine and sophisticated just like a mother of the bride should be. We are now planning an afternoon tea to enjoy going out dressed for a special occasion. Many thanks Sonia, you are a star. I can’t thank Sonia enough and hope to go back developing the other side of me. Maybe a few adventures

I love how each girl’s makeup was bespoke, So, I made the call which was answered by Sonia. We chatted for 10 minutes on what I wanted out of my appointment and arranged a date for me to visit her studio. During the days leading up the big day, Sonia and I emailed each other discussing my style and my look I wanted to achieve. The big day arrived. I turned up at Sonia’s Studio to find her waiting outside for me. Sonia helped carrying my thing for my transformation into Laura. I will say the Studio’s location is beautiful and relaxing. We spent about 10-15 minutes finalizing what I wanted to out of the session. Then as some music started to play, Sonia started to do her magic makeup. After about 40 minutes it was time to slip into my skirt and jumper. As I looked into the mirror, I saw Laura looking back. She was stunning! I felt very feminine for the very first time. But it didn’t stop there. I change to a long blonde wig and a different shade of lipstick, Laura came this empowering woman! I can’t thank Sonia enough and hope to go back developing the other side of me. Maybe a few adventures 😉 Laura x

I was first considered booking with Sonia when reading about her ethics and values, especially those around individuality and the LGBTQ+ community. I was then sold when emailing with her... read more as she was very friendly and quick responding. There was open communication throughout the whole process and we worked together to figure out the best plan of action. This included creating a skin care routine for my dry skin after seeing how it acted at the trial which worked amazingly and I've had so many compliments since! It definatley helped to ease my anxieties and no question was too silly/small to ask. Sonia and Charlotte were always very professional and did an amazing job on the day with everyone's hair and make-up standing up against not only time, but the heat and sweat of the 30+ degree sun! Only thing I would say is that my MOH had an apprentice do her hair and make-up (who did a great job) but was expecting a qualified given she paid the same as MOB.
